SAVING LIVES AND BUILDING FUTURES
Kaizen Way organizes and funds Martial Arts classes at Title One schools.
It started in 2015 at Pepperhill Elementary where Masters Studios Instructors would volunteer their time during school hours. This would not have been possible if it where not for the amazing working relationship with Pepperhill administration and faculty. The guidance counselors and teachers play a major role by selecting the children who would benefit form the program the most.
New students start their Martial Arts experience in a one on one setting with a highly experienced Black Belt Instructor. This is a chance for the student to learn the basics and more importantly learn the etiquette and ideology of a Martial Arts class. Once the student is ready, he/she gets placed into a very small group class. Martial Arts training is used as a means for the child’s development as a healthy and happy individual. Generating steady, continuous progress yields best results in the long run, which is what KAIZEN is all about.
